I want to use Chandler, but skimming the Wiki shows that they aren't planning to get serious about performance for months.

They more or less need to improve the speed by a factor of five for most operations in order to make it feel like a usable program, which is a lot better than when I tried it some time in late 2004: they needed a couple orders of magnitude then, if I remember correctly.

Without a doubt the most beautiful Python desktop program I've ever seen.
